TGIF! Is it just me or does this seem like a terribly long week? I know my girls are both out of school Monday so it will be a long weekend for us.
My girls never tire of heart lunches. I used my mini pocket maker for the whole wheat and dark whole wheat mini hearts and a regular cookie cutter for the double heart sandwich in the middle. In the bottom left are honeydew melon and pineapple hearts with a heart shaped plum in the middle of the fruit. In the top left are multi-colored grape tomatoes and kalamata olives. The top row has currants (small raisins), strawberries, blueberries and cashews. In the middle section is a tiny, heart shaped coconut macaroon for a treat packed in her PlanetBox.
For her preschool snack today, Miss G (4) has a Happy Tiffin container bento box. In the heart shaped silicone cup are pineapple pieces with a strawberry on top surrounded by cantaloupe, honeydew melon and watermelon pieces. In the bottom round tin are cashews and dried cranberries.
Little Miss A (3) has a Sistema sandwich box with a conversation heart sandwich surrounded by hearts of dried cranberries and pistachios. In the top square cups are pineapple, honeydew, cantaloupe and watermelon topped with strawberry hearts.
Wishing everyone a relaxing weekend!
